Hello World!!

"Hello World!" because it has been awhile since I have posted. We are officially moved in and loving it! I have lots to share so grab a cup of coffee, it's a long post...oh wait!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
This is actually a photo that we took before going to church on Christmas Eve, but aren't we just adorable? I have soooo much to be thankful for in 2010! Again...Happy Holidays!

Wanna see what I have been up to? Here ya go...

First off...here is my last So Sketchy! layout. Allison Cope lived up to the expectations till the last sketch. I am really sad to see her go. You can check the out the sketch HERE and she has also extended the contest deadline till January 15th...so get busy!

"Lil Moma"
December is also my last month at Mosh Posh and goodness I loved the last kit I got to work with. So, just layouts were not enough! I ended up creating another banner. It was just sweet on our new mantle!

I have also been working on my December design team projects for Right At Home...fun, fun!! I was able to work with 2 different lines this month, which I think fueled my creativity! I completed the first 2 layouts using My Little Shoebox Little Ladies and Whoo Loves You? Collections, and for the last layout and card, I used My Mind's Eye Colorful Christmas Collection. Take a look...

"Nothin' But Sass"
"Showing Her the Ropes""It's a Wonderful Life"
This simple card was completed with the scraps from the above layout.

These are just a few...I have more in my arsenal to share. I hope everyone is having a wonderful New Year's Day! See ya soon.

So...So Thankful.....

...I truly am. I have many things in my life going right these days. You know how sometimes you struggle so much that you begin to question if the things you are doing are part of the "BIG plan"? Well, that is exactly how I have been feeling for the past year and a half, but finally...I feel peace. I am teaching at a wonderful school, where my own children attend, my kids are doing wonderfully...fitting in and making great grades, we will close on our beautiful home next week, and my husband...oh, my adorable husband...he is just being everything I need him to be! Life is good and I am thankful.

Wondering where I am headed with all of the "thankful" talk? Well...it's only building up to introduce this week's blog party challenge at Mosh Posh! Estee has been working super hard to make these two weeks FUN, and don't ya think she has done a super-fab job? Ok...on to the challenge! This week's challenge is to create a thank you card. Take a look at mine...

Those are the last bits of my November kit...and I mean bits! I was a tad nervous I was not going to have a thing to create my card with...I just loved this kit. Well ladies, you know the drill...HOP on over to the other design team's blogs and leave a comment, but don't forget to leave one at the Mosh Posh blog too.

Happy Hopping!!

And here are my November projects made with this totally scrumptious kit!

I'm in the Mood!

Did I get your attention? I'm in the mood for Halloween...silly! As I previously posted, I was asked to the October Guest Designer at the Kitz Girlz Kit Club. And since the girls who run the show hang out at my favorite brick and mortar scrapbook store, Treasured Memories, I said of course! Well, little did I know that I was going to be receiving a delish kit full of Basic Grey, bling, laser cuts, etc. Just to let ya know...if you are not in the mood for Halloween, some Kitz Girlz goodness will sure put you right where you need to be. Take a look at what I created with their October kit!

My first layout..."The Witching Hour"

"Sweet"...do ya see the paper pieced candy corn? Oh, how I just love them.
Like I said before, I've been feeling a bit crafty. So hold on to your shorts...I've been busy creating some not so typical Frances projects. Take a look...

"BOO-tiful"...have I ever mentioned before that I love a grid? Just making sure you are paying attention. ;-)

Now, I am super excited about this next project! In the past week I have changed jobs, moved my kids out of their school and put them in the same school as me, and we bought a house...shew...I have been busy. But with all of these awesome changes, I have found that I am beginning to nest. We have been without a home for over a year now, and I am pumped to be moving into our own home again. So, since I cannot get in there right now to paint, clean, and decorate, I am doing it from my craft table. This was my first creation for my new home...it is a Halloween door hanger.

"Ghosts, Gobblins, and Ghouls Live Here"
My husband has been welding lately, so I asked him to pick up a piece of sheet metal for me to make my sign out of. He took the sheet metal and distressed it with a hammer and some pliers...great job honey! He also added some wire for me to create the precious ribbon handle. From there, I basically created a scrapbook layout without pictures. I took the spider web laser cut and blocked off sections for me to put the totally fab Basic Grey Eerie paper...to give it a quilt effect. I also used the Basic Grey cardstock stickers. I backed them with black paper to add some bulk and for them to pop! Added some cute letters...and taaaadaaaa! It was truly a fun project...I am currently working on a few more!

Thanks again Janet and Wendy! I am truly honored to be the 1st Guest Designer at Kitz Girlz. And if you are in the mood for some coordinated, current goodies, mosey on over and pick you up a kit...they ship anywhere in the United States! Happy Haunting!!

Hello Beautiful...

...the Mosh Posh October kit that is. Kristen has put together another full kit this month titled Smarty Pants...don't ya just love that? It is full of Cosmo Cricket, Lily Bee, and Jillibean Soup...Mmmmmmmm...it's wonderful. But, if you think you may just run over there and pick yourself up a kit, well, it's SOLD OUT! Yep, SOLD OUT...sorry. Take a look anyway...
I had a TON of fun with this kit. Instead of just doing layouts, I decided to give cards a whirl. I am NOT a card maker, but I admire them all of the time. Last month Estee designed two adorable cards and I was envious. Since I am soooo in love with this months kit, I decided that this month I would make my card making debut. TaaaaaDaaaa...

"Boo"

"Thanx"
And here are the rest of my projects...
