Good Stuff!

What a great day!! There are fabulous challenges going up everywhere today...two specifically that I am lovin. Aphra and I are having such fun hosting our own challenge blog. It is so much fun to get to know new people and to have them inspire us and each other. Over at a la Carte we have cooked up another great challenge and it is just in time for Father's Day.

Challenge #2--A Man's Heart

The Menu:

1. Use the word father or dad in your title or journaling.
2. Use plaid, argyle, paisley, or diagonal striped pattern paper.
3. Use white space.
4. Use a metal embellishment.
5. Use distressing.
6. Use mixed alphas. (You know sometimes a man just doesn't match.)

Directions: Choose at least three menu items for your challenge. Upload your layout to the gallery before midnight CST June 30th. A winner will be drawn and announced on July 1st. Here is my take on Challenge #2..."King of Our Castle".

Like that wasn't enough to get your mojo going...there is also another fabulous challenge posted at Scrapper's Block. Challenge #5 is called "Solo-Color" and that is exactly what we want you to use! Just one color throughout the whole layout...and with so many shades and tones available, it may not be as difficult as you think! Here is my take on Challenge #5 "Sweet Cheeks".

Gotta go! I am scrapping like a mad woman...I leave for New York in 6 days. I can not wait!
