It's Time!

Whoot! Whoot! It is my Scrapping Out Loud debut! Yep, that's right my term has begun and that could only mean that there is a new challenge. This week's challenge is a Pinch of this, and a dash of that! Scrap about a favorite recipe! It could be a family recipe, a new recipe, maybe one you made up yourself or even a dish at your favorite restaurant! Get creative ladies, and get cooking! Here is my take on this week's challenge...

"He's got the Flava"
Yep ladies, and he can cook! Here in the South, crawfish is a summer must and my honey can do it better than anyone. He bought himself a crawfish pot and burner a couple of years ago and has perfected his recipe. When I decided to create this layout about him, I told him to let me know his secret. He relpied, "The process is ONLY to be completed while holding a beer!" What a true Louisiana, country, river BOY. To complete my layout I visited one of my most fav sketch sites, Creative Scrappers, and found an old sketch, Sketch #44. It was just perfect for the two pics I wanted to use. Mixed a few lines of patterned paper Jenny Bowlin, KI Memories, and Scenic Route...wait, now that I mention it, my entire layout is a hodge-podge. It was totally fun to complete...I love rummaging through my supplies to find treasures. My husband's favorite, is the busted-up bottle top. Probably because you can't have crawfish without a cold one.

Well, the best part of being on the Scrapping Out LOUD! Design Team...I will be back next week to debut another challenge and a new layout! Thanks for stopping by,

Wow Frances, great LO. I agree here in South Louisiana the only way to correctly boil crawfish is with a cold one! Great Job!!
