Pretty sweet huh? First off, I was inspired to create a HUGE sun by Bo Bunny's fun, fun Summer Collection, Sun Kissed. I began by cutting a circle out of cardstock and then cutting it in half. I then trimmed a card to fit behind the sun, and adhered it with adhesive. I stapled ribbon in loops around the circle to make it look like rays, and attached the tree strip, the flowers, and clouds with foam adhesive. From there I took the tissue paper and cut it into strips, and then the strips into squares. And now think way back to elementary school, I took each square of tissue paper, squished it around a pencil eraser, touched the tissue paper to Elmers glue, and stuck it down all over my sun. This technique would be great for grass, clouds, and hair on animals...the possibilities are endless!!
