Who...Me?

It's Wednesday and my week could not be better!!!

It started Monday when I walked into my school. Our state testing scores are in, and we have made a gain! I work at an inner-city school that is overcrowded and those are just the small problems. The faculty at my school has killed themselves this year to implement programs, give the kids positive behavior incentives, and most importantly we made a commitment to simply do our best and try to make a change, and our hard work paid off!!! As I watched each kid walk into the principals office and find out how they did, most came out of the office with open arms saying "Thank You". This is precisely why I became a teacher.

Pretty good huh? It gets better...

I get a break from my kiddos and check my blog, only to find that Laurel left a comment complimenting my layout and to go check out her blog for some news. I make my way over to her blog, Laurel's Place, and I found out that I won this...

...now that's a prize, don't ya think!! Thank you Laurel. I am so excited to be getting these goodies.

It even gets better...

Yesterday a contract was signed on our house!!! We have been out of our house since June of 2008. It has been on and off of the market and finally we are one step away from beginning to build the house of our dreams.

Not finished...

I found out today that I was chosen to be the June Guest Designer at Mosh Posh! Mosh Posh is a kit company, with a fabulous eye for style! There design team is awesome and I am completely amazed that I was chosen to join in for a month. I can't wait to get the kit and get busy scrapping!

What a week huh? I don't know if it can get better. It probably will get better because tomorrow I will be going to an awards ceremony at my girls' school and I am sure they will receive something. Check back on May 23rd...more good news!
