Passing a Good Time?
Have you ever heard that phrase? If you are from Louisiana, then you know just what I am talking about. For those of you not from the "Bayou State," "passing a good time" means having a blast without a care in the world. We Southerners really know how to "pass a good time" during MARDI GRAS season!!! We eat, party, eat, go to parades, eat, dance, and did I mention eat? The food is amazing...it's almost worse than Christmas! Ok, enough already, on to my post. I decided to particpate in this week's sketch contest over at the sketchy blog, Sketchy Thursday. You can check out this week's sketch HERE. And here is my take on the sketch...Passing a Good Time
Little bright, huh? Well, it's MARDI GRAS, and I decided subdue colors...NOT AN OPTION! Well, wish me luck! A big Kenner Road kit is up for grabs!
P.S. I want to take a moment to let out a BIG "WHO DAT!!" Yep, that is for our boys down in the big 504 (New Orleans)...GET UM!!!

Would so love to be down south right about now.. sure is alot warmer than here in WI. Would be fun to see all the Mardi Gras parades and such! I love the colors!! Fun page!!
I have a feeling that turn of phrase comes from your area's french heritage....sounds a bit like my family's Acadien "Chiac"
