Ok...I feel like I am running a race sometimes...do you know what I mean? Things have been quite busy at my house. My oldest began tutoring, 4 kids, keeping up with my layouts, 4kids, I helped with a teacher conference, 4 kids, getting ready for vacation,
and did I mention 4 kids! At the beginning of the summer all I could talk about was wanting to stay home with my 4 adorable babies, and now, I am counting down the days to August 17th...work begins! They are just so bored. I have two that want to run the roads from here to there, and the other two still need help to the bathroom and naps. Sadly, I believe my children have had it with me and miss school, their friends, and rountines terribly...LOL! Sorry, just needed to get a few things off my chest...just can't beat that motherly guilt. Anyhoo, here are a few layouts that I have been meaning to post...
My first layout is for challenge #4 at
a la Carte, Kool Aid. This was a fun challenge...summer inspired. Go check it out. There is still plenty of time to play!
"Snips & Snails"
This was a layout that I completed for the August Guest Designer spot at
Back Porch Memories. Didn't get it, but I am in love with my layout!
"3 Little Monkeys"
Last, but certainly not least, this layout was completed for challenge #7 at
Scrapper's Block? This challenge was based on a sketch designed by Lou Collins the girl in charge at Scrapper's Block...it was totally fab.

Love all these layouts Frances and I so get the 4 kids thing......LOL
I just adore your work and all of the LO's are PERFECT!!!! I so understand the idea of balance and children!!!!! We were able to be Evan into a summer program at his school and he goes from 10-2, Monday thru Thursday and this has been such a blessing!!! Sadly it will be ending this month!!!! Then it starts....boredom...grumpiness and what the two boys get into are unbelievable!!! hang in there Mom.....you are doing a great job!!!! :)
Love each of these layouts...the quirky accents and bright colors of the first, the fun letters and cut outs on the second, and the cat tails and buttons on the third! Yep, the last weeks of summer sure do try a momma's patience and in your case it's times four. Good thing you have some fun stuff coming up!
