Hey everybody! It has been 1 week since I have posted and it has certainly not been that I have nothing to share. Life has once again got in the way...it all started last Tuesday. My sweet, wild 6 year old decided to climb on top of a kiddie slide, fell, and broke two bones in her arm. At first the doctor said surgery, pins, and therapy, but once she was under anesthesia he was able to set the break and put it in a cast. Thank heavens no surgery! She is in a cast to her shoulder and it is there for 6 weeks. My poor, sweet baby.

As the saying goes, "Life must go on!" School is starting, all 4 kids are still home with me till Monday, and we have had a death in the family, you see what I mean...when it rains it pours! But amidst all of the chaos I have still managed to get a little scrapping done...thank you honey. A couple of the layouts I have to share debuted last week, but better late than never.
My first layout is for this week's challenge at
Scrapping Out LOUD! Yep, it's Tuesday and there is another challenge posted. This week's challenge is an awesome assortment. The challenge is to use the list below to create a layout. The only thing you can add to the list is a journaling block and alphas. Take a look at the assortment...
Cardstock or Patterned paper for your base
(1) 9 x 10 piece of paper
(1) 8 x 8 piece of paper
(2) 3 inch x 11 pieces of paper
1 piece of ribbon size of your choice
a scrap of fabric
3 layered flowers (or other embellishments)
And a hand sewn flourish.....
And here is my layout "3 Little Mommas"

This month I am the featured Scrap Artist at
Sassy Girl Scraps. Pam's blog is a sketch blog and she really does a great job of creating sketches. She will be posting a sketch and my layout every week for the rest of the month. Take a look...
The Sketch
My take "Play On"

Last, but certainly not least. Like I said before, Tuesday I was in the hospital, and I missed posting my weekly
Scrapping Out LOUD! layout. Last week's challenge was to Rip It!...rip something up and put it on your layout. That meant anything...paper, fabric, cardboard, ribbon...whatever! It was too much FUN! I just loved my layout. It actually spent a day in the Top 10 at Two Peas. Take a look...
"She's Crafty"

I know...what a long post huh? I have tons to scrap and tons going on in my "real" life, but hopefully I don't have too many more weekly posts. This is my therapy. What about you?
