Ooooooo...Me Likey!

Ok, I know the post title is cheesy, but somebody had to do it. It was coming...when I got the new Sassafras Lass Me Likey paper and embellishments in the mail, I just knew I was going to use that title. Anyhoo, it is August and Allison Cope is on the move over at So Sketchy! She has been a busy chicka like always. It is only August the 4th and so far there has been a new sketch posted everyday...she is amazing! Today's sketch is simple and has clean lines, which kinda worried me initally. Once I got started, it went together like butta. Take a look!

And did I mention I used Sassafras Lass Me Likey? I just love it! It is VERY bright and colorful. To manage the colors I had to chop it up....love to do that. And to break up the clean and simple lines, I added a cluster of embellishments instead of just a simple circle. I must also mention...did you see that kid? Wholy Moly he's cute and just precious that day. He kept saying "HeeHaw", instead of "YeeHaw", and rocking back and forth just like his sisters.

Well, I am super satisified with my layout and I have to tell ya, all of the sketches this month are in my fav folder on my desktop...they are fabulous! Thanks for stopping by,
